The room was spacious, but the shower head barely worked.

The rooms in the hotel are newly refurbished and provide a great level of comfort with quality linens—definitely a plus for catching some good sleep after a long day exploring. The pool area, though small, offers a nice place to kick back and unwind when you want a break from the beach scene.

The breakfast options were somewhat underwhelming—lacked variety, and some days even quality, which could definitely use some improvement. there have been issues with street noise and inadequate soundproofing in certain rooms, making it a challenge for light sleepers. Finally, the Wi-Fi was slow at peak times, which was frustrating needing to catch up on some business or connect with home.

the staff are super friendly and helpful, and the pool area is really nice to chill at. breakfast was amazin with plenty of choices. our junior suite had a great comfy bed and was super clean. the location is perfect for walkin to the port and old town, just a few minutes away. definitely felt welcomed every day, and housekeeping did a great job keeping things tidy.

the wifi was kinda slow at times, which was annoying. also, the noise from the street made it hard to sleep some nights.

Front desk lady was a superstar, always helping out with rad spots to eat and visit. Breakfast spread was lekker, especially the Greek goodies! The room was super comfy, loved the double doors on the balcony, really blocked out the noise from the street parties.

The room was clean and comfortable, though I faced issues on the first night with noise from the street. After requesting a room change, I was promptly moved, which showcased their attentive service. the air conditioning in one room didn't work as effectively as expected, making some nights uncomfortable. The staff, particularly at the front desk, were friendly and accommodating but had some inconsistencies in service, especially regarding a minibar misunderstanding at checkout.

The staff at Civitel Akali Hotel were incredibly helpful, particularly Katerina at reception. The breakfast offered a delightful variety, and the location was perfect for exploring Chania.
